Future Leader Scholarships
Future Leader Scholarships, offered by the International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET), are available for students in the Economics MA Program. Apply for the ISET’s MA Program now and get a chance to receive these scholarships in September. These highly prestigious scholarships cover the full cost of tuition and offer stipends up to $500/month, for two years of study at ISET. Scholarships are conditional on satisfactory academic performance.
All applicants to the ISET MA program will be automatically considered for the Future Leader Scholarships.
All students accepted into the ISET’s Master of Arts Program in Economics will be invited to study free during the first mini-term. ISET offers 100% scholarships covering the full cost of tuition and living stipends up to $150 for all Azerbaijani candidates meeting the minimum academic requirements (GPA of B-). Azerbaijani students also receive free housing. Interested graduates are offered assistance with placement in top PhD programs in the US and Western Europe.
Applications are accepted online (www.iset.ge) until May 1, 2013.
Admissions exams in English and mathematics will be conducted in Baku in early May 2013.
Established in 2006, ISET is sponsored by a consortium of prominent international donors, including BP, the CERGE-EI Foundation, the Government of Georgia, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Open Society Foundation, Swedish International Cooperation Agency, US Agency for International Development, and the World Bank. It is the only institution in the South Caucasus offering an international-caliber Master’s Program in Economics. From a total of 153 ISET graduates, 97% are currently employed or studying abroad. ISETers hold leading analytical positions in the National Banks and ministries in all three South Caucasus countries and study in PhD programs at Stanford University, University of Chicago, New York University and University of Pennsylvania, among others.
